Depends on the course. Some books are almost identical. Some are very different. In both cases the instructors do not accommodate for the older edition so you need to find the corresponding page numbers yourself.

Too many nursing schools. Where I live there are six of them and only one med school. Many DNP and NP programs too to saturate that field.

Are these people UofR graduates? I'm not sure how many get jobs but I think their placement is better than average. Salary is around $25 / hour for the hospitals in the Rochester area. Like with all programs, there is no guarantee of employment at the end,although there is a guarantee of the tuition charged. Keep on the asking the right questions and consider wisely as the tuition is astronomically high.

Get out as soon as you can...but make sure the next place will work for you for the next two, three years at least. I know you can never really know for sure, but you don't want to look like a job hopper.

If you are paying tonnes of money then maybe take sometime off after the semester to reflect and think on your likes and dislikes. It would be sad to have spent tens of thousands of dollars on a degree you really don't care for.

Does Kramer also have a med school where they accept anyone?

My school did not require any math pre-reqs. However, you will need to know how to calculate dosages when in nursing school. It is not complicated but you will need to know quantities of time, volume and mass and how they relate regarding medications.

Taking a pay cut to make one more competitive is not good. It sets a precedent that you can work for cheap. It then becomes a race to the bottom.

Does anyone know what the statistics are for job placement of the last few classes that have graduated from U of R? Thanks!
