  1. bet0326, so if you already have a degree, financial aid won't give you anymore aid? I hope so because i will be graduating with my 1st BS in health science at FIU. Financial aid stop giving me money for the past year because i have too much credits. I'm hoping that if you go back to school for something else they'll help.
  2. thanks christina....check your PM
  3. hello, I will be graduating in dec with my BS in health science and i decided to go back to school for nursing. I plan to apply to FIU, NOVA, U of M, and BARRY. Is anyone currently going to any one of these schools or have graduated from any one? And if so could you tell me how hard it is to get in. I plan to hopefully start in spring. Also, if you were placed on a waiting list how long were you on before you got accepted. :uhoh21: THANKS
  4. hello all, i am new to allnurses. I currently have 4 more classes left for my BS in health science but i plan to attend nursing school in the spring. I've been reading the posts for several days now and it has helped me answer some questions that i had. But as for the 50 patients per 1 nurse, that is crazy! I work in a hospital here in Miami and it is usually 1 nurse and 1 cna per 5-6 patients. I couldn't imagine anything more.
