  1. I truly love and enjoy helping people, I actually enjoy being at the hospital, I'm not terrified of blood or seeing an open body. However, I'm doing an internship at my local hospital and I came to find out that I'm truly disgusted by bad odors! like there's times when I've entered a patient's room and I just want to cover my nose! but of course I don't because I know I'd be totally rude. When I leave the hospital after my shift I cannot wait to shower because I feel like I stink! I'm almost done with all my pre-reqs and I'm honestly afraid that I will never get used the bad smells I've encounter at the hospital. What do you guys think? Will it get better over time? or is this a strong enough reason to change my major?
  2. Im not allowed to pm yet Thank you for replying! I've heard negative and positive comments about The CCE program. Can you tell you what hospital you did your intership at? What would you say was bad about your experience at the program? How did your friend get rejected? Did she do the interview & payed the $165?
  3. I applied for the COPE CCE program sometime last year and got an email from them in December to schedule me for an interview. After the interview, I got an invite to the 3 day (10 hrs a day) training, but in order to do that I had to pay $165 for the training in which they provide food and if I pass the exam( It also includes a blue polo shirt). I've already been to the first day of training (which is 10 hours) this past Sunday. Today i received an email from them asking me to pay $65 for 8 units at UCR. After the 3 day training they have an entrance exam in which if we don't get 80% or better in a written and a hands on exam we won't be accepted into the program. I'm afraid that this whole thing is a scam, seriously I'm going to commit to 280 hrs of my time for free and I have already payed you $165 +$65 what happens if I don't pass the exam? Has anyone here done this program that can tell me how difficult that exam is?
