  1. I think you need a bit more RN experience either at least a total of 5 clinical nursing or if you can, 1-2 yrs of home health case manager that was how I started, I don't know your area but in Indiana WellPoint is huge , try there... Also don't expect because you are home that you will be able to care for your son...it's hard work... Also (again) search Utilization review... Good luck!!
  2. Just to clarify, I am a ASN with a CCM there is no requirement from CCMC for BSN, BUT there is a 4 yr requirement for other health fields social work psychologist other allied health with acceptable work history...
  3. I'm not sure geographically you are in IN but Ivy Tech are Everywhere....If you are close to a border state (OHIO?)try that state
  4. I work for a specialty hosp and they pay $12-18 to LPNs dependong on exp LTC usu $16-19 to start Bur the money is Agency $25-30 if you would travel tack on 10 more BUT agency is high risk because you can get canceled QUICK this is from my own experience .... Thats why Im going Back to school:rotfl:
  5. I had to buy "nursing shoes" for school and I did find Nursemates (I think ''Dove") are pretty comfy I used to be anti- nursing shoes, having tried many kind only to wear K-Swiss those were the 2nd best to me. Now the last pair I bought was the Dr Scholls w/ air glide or something but the inner sole came up so it felt like I'm steppin on something:uhoh3: I dream to get Birkenstocks but I cannot see paying $120 for shoes if I don't like um:rolleyes: . I hope this helps
  6. how about i trade you for that sethascope i have an ultra scope and though it's cute as all get out, i cant hear a thing. i've been able to hear wonderfully through a $100 littmann.
