  1. To the group of 5 or so girls in my class that think they are the only ones in the class that are good enough to be nurses...GET OVER YOURSELVES!! If I have to hear one more story, "well, I'm a medical assistant and at our office we...or one time..." I'm going throw myself out the window!!!! Stop complaining that there isn't enough time and that it's not fair that you have clinicals, a test, a quiz, and a group project coming up...SO DOES EVERYONE ELSE!! Are you really being snotty to our instructor too? And were you guys seriously making snide remarks, rolling your eyes, and giggling while people were presenting their group projects in front of the class? Unbelievable. Nursing is about having humility...being caring, it's most certainly not feeling the need to continually cut your fellow nurses down to size. AHH! I feel better.
  2. Not sure where CFCC is but I live in Iowa, I have a 3.8 (got a B in Nutrition because I was taking A&P1 the same time during summer and slacked off lol) I am in A&P2 now with an A, it is my last pre-req. Luckily I was one of 24 students to get in!
  3. Ok I got into the evening/weekend program ADN program at my local community college, I start this coming fall...any advice from fellow students? I'm extremely nervous and have heard from numerous people how challenging our program is...particularly the teachers! I've been working for that letter for 2 years now and am extremely nervous and happy at the same time!
