I finally PASSED my NCLEX-RN exam!!!
Hello, the exam cram is a book/cd you can purchase at any bookstore or online. It is not expensive. Sorry I cannot send it online, there is no electronic version. The cram sheet is a summary of the book and very useful. Best of luck to you, I know you can do it!

I finally PASSED my NCLEX-RN exam!!!
Use the above/below pass report sheet to focus on your weak areas. Study from one main book/cd doing many many questions. I found saunders to be the most helpful. Go to my original post and read my study outline. Review airborn, droplet, contact precations and the common assosiated illnesses that go along with them. Print out the exam cram sheet found in the previous posts and memorized the entire sheet. Remember the nclex is testing you as a entry level new graduate nurse and. Does not expect you to know everything. Just answer the questions to the best of your ability making sure you choose the answer the nclex wants(it is not based off of real word nursing, you have all the time in the world for your patients). Don't get discouraged just take it one day at a time and. Focus on one study material. If you get overwhelmed ask your friends for help or for famly to quiz you. Best of luck to you

I finally PASSED my NCLEX-RN exam!!!
The NCLEX is nothing to be afraid of. Remeber you can take it as many times as you want (ever 45 days) and only have to pass it ONCE. I focused on mainly one study material the saunders cd, and used the other material for knowledge review. If you go to my original post and memorize my mneumonics and precautions you should be fine. The best way to prepare for the exam is to set the date and make an easy to follow daily schedual of what to accomplish (150q, 200q...etc) first time I studied for 4 months, wited 45days between the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th times. I then took time off for family, got married began to study agin after the new year for one month and had a tutor on the weekends and passed on my 5th try. Anything can happen just study a few hours every day and you will be a rn before you know it

It sounds like you have a solid study plan. Don't worry too much about the percentages your getting on the practice tests, you know the material and will do fine. Let me know how your test goes. Remember the day before the exam to just relax, go out to dinner and try not to stress about it. Try to reward yourself when your done with the exam, you have accomplished so much already!! I know you can do it, best of luck to you and all other nclex takers!

I finally PASSED my NCLEX-RN exam!!!
Everyone studys differently and there is no one right way. My advice to you is to do as many questions as possible and to review the subjects you do not feel confident in. Go to the nclex learning website and review the test outline and study from that. I would not study just content, I found that it was best for me to do questions in my weak subjects and read all the rationals even f I got the question correct. Best of luck to you on your upcomming exam!! You can do it :)

I finally PASSED my NCLEX-RN exam!!!
Good luck! My brother is taking a&p2 now and has applied for nursing awaiting reply. My mothers advise to me that I pass along is to study your butt off, read the textbook ( my teachers q's were all straight from the text) and after you take the tests you can forget that information and focus on the new info. Best of luck to you and your future!!!

I finally PASSED my NCLEX-RN exam!!!
Thank you for your post. I am glad to hear that you are back on track. If you follow my study guide it should be very helpful to you. If you feel you need a good review, kaplan class is very good with a high pass rate. I agree with you that a review cours would be very helpful, and possibly a private tutor. Remember, don't give up! You passed nursing school you can get through the nclex. My study advice to you is just take every question one by one reading exactly what they ask for and do lots of questions. Don't worry, it will all come back to you, I got depressed and thought I could never do it but would pick up the pieces, reschedual my test and begin studying all over again in a different way, knowing this was what I was meant to do. Study from your analysis sheet, if you understand the content, know the basics of pharm and can critically think through the questions you will do fine. Let me know if you would like anymore advise, hope I helped

Discouraged, downtroddened and ready to find something other than nursing...
Hello mashall1, I. Just passed my nclex and have begun the search. My mother just recently had the same thing happen to her when her hospital closed. She is a nurse of over 35 years all in maternal/child. She was out of work for half a year and it was very hard for her. She did end up finding a job but had to take a significant pay cut. Her new job has many technological advancements that the old one did not, and it was quite a shock for her. She would have to take the computer course multiple 5imes (she didn't even know how to turn on a computer prior). In the begining she had to spend a large amount of time charting. But now she is more comfortable working this way and thinks its a lot quicker.vhe worked hard, went on lots of interviews, and called friens in other hospitals for help with finding job openings. I hope your search ends in success soon, best of luck...don't give up

I finally PASSED my NCLEX-RN exam!!!
I am soooooo happy that I could help you out, and thank you for all the kind words. I know you can pass don't get discouraged. I was down about graduating late and taking a year to pass the nclex after all my friends passed (got jobs, new cars, homes and got married) but I knew I would pass in my own time. Just don't forget to enjoy life, and maybe someday soon we would even work at the same hospital (wouldn't that be crazy??!!) Anyway let me know how your studies go, and if you need any help. I think if you follow my study guide, you will do fine. just set a date, write out a study plan and find a quiet place to study and you will be an RN in no time! Oh and if you are having a hard time with endo just keep doing questions in saunders and know the basic illnesses the nclex people love to ask about symptoms and tx of cushings/addisons, hypo/hyper thyroid, and diabetes (read post on memorization techniques). Hope I helped, good luck studying... YOU CAN DO IT!!

I finally PASSED my NCLEX-RN exam!!!
Hello, I am sure you will pass. I tried Kaplan online questions and found that the format was good, but i did not like the explanations. i am also more of an audio learner and felt in person learning would have been better for the money. I actually ended up getting most of my money back for kaplan because the online site was down for two weeks. hope it helps you!!! good luck with your studying/test!!!!
