  2. Have you heard anything yet? I think I remember the lady telling me I would know either way???
  3. Im glad to hear that it went well. I wonder how many more days of interviewing they have? I am so ready to know if I got on or not. Good luck:nurse:
  4. 025, How did the interview go?
  5. It sounds like you had a real good interview!!! 025 its your turn now!!! Good luck!!!
  6. Congratulations!!!:yeah: I thought it was weird that you hadn't got a call when we had the same exact points!!! I don't think that they interview everyone who tested, but I do know that everyone that interviews is not going to be chosen Tippy how'd the interview go, hopefully there was no suprises questions.:nurse:
  7. 025 any word yet! Tippy, the interview wasn't as bad as I thought, it was a ltl nerve racking but after I got in there and sat down it went pretty well I thought?? I interviewed at Tahlequah so it may be diffrent in Sallisaw, but there was 3 ladies in the room. They each had a sheet that was numbered 1 through 5, and they took turns asking questions. Why nursing, why ICTC? What do you think about team work and being a team player? What have you done to prepare if you are chosen to get in? What would you do with a difficult patient who didn't want your care? Some others I can't remember and the last one:confused: We have had many many applicants, Why you over the others? Tippy I hope this helps you. I practiced all last night on questions I thoughtthey would ask? I for what ever reason never expected the why ICTC, LOL The lady told me that I would know either way!!! Good luck tommorrow!!! I hope we all get in! :nurse:
  8. Congrats Tippy!!! From what I have been told and experienced from others from last year, they interview you and add your score to your testing score. They will pick however many and there is like 2 or 3 alternates, meaning you weren't chosen to officially get in but if someone changes their mind then you are in. Not everyone who interviews will be chosen to get in or to be an alternate??? Thats how it was explained to me. I just hope we get in!!! I called a few people from last year who received interviews b/c last year was the first year that they started the interview process b/c so many people got in and then I had to quit half way through b/c of financial reasons, babysitters etc. I was told you would be asked things like: Why nursing 5 year plans 10 year plans How do you plan on mainting your bills why you go to school Do you have adequate transportation, babysitting, time to study If you are planning on workign how are you going to manage the work load?? Tippy my interview is tomorrow, so I will definately get back on here and let you know what type of questions for sure if you would like. I am the type of person who likes to be prepared and know ahead of time what is going to happen.
  9. She just called me back, Thursday April 28th @ 9:30 @ the Tahlequa campus! The pointers she gave me were show up 15 minutes early, dress business casual (no scrubs), and less is more...she said do not become a chatty Kathy. Answer the question thats asked and that is it. Yeah!!!! :nurse::yeah: Sorry if im over excited, but Im just excited...I studied real hard as did yall and I just hope the two of you got the call as well!!!
  10. I just got the call from ******* from the nursing department. I have an interview!!!!...well she called to schedule the interview and got my voice mail...when I called her back, I got her voice mail!!!! I am so flipping nervous. I hope the two of you got a call as well!!!
  11. Double points for reading??? What is that, I didn't know anything about that?
  12. Tippy what was your math test like. Mine was adding and subtrating numbers, some algebric equations. I know that some people said that had to reconcile a check book and wage questions like x brings home 2300 a week after all these bills how much do they have left, I didn't have any of these. I had a few fractions problems, one Roman Numeral problem. I didn't have any proportion problems. I had a few percent problems...maybe one math test is harder than the other?
  13. Do either of you know what happens now that the application deadline has closed? I know you get an interview, but do you know how long I am going to have to sit here and bite my nails, lol... Good luck to all three of us!!!!
  14. Tippy, in the packet I have it states that if there is not enough people making over the minimum score that they can take people scoring below the minimum, so he was correct. I believe what 025 is saying about the NET test being easier then this test. On my test scores it showed that the mean in Reading was 63.6, so Im assuming that the average person that took the test was a 63.6, what does your average mean show on Reading and Math?
  15. Tippy did you take yours at Tahlequah today, that is where I took mine. I think all the sections had a few extra questions that weren't scored, so I don't think they were counted against you if you missed those certain ones. The TEAS V study guide talked about the extra questions, I think they said they were in their for their study purposes? To me the math was tricky. When I took the reading portion I felt good about it, but when we came back in from break and took the Math I felt I wasn't getting the questions right. I think it is everything you posted, not enough time, too much writing out long problems, I got frustrated on a few of them. I think I could have eventually figured them out, but I was so worried about the lack of time that I had to just bubble in an answer. I think those who are very good at math had plenty of time, but those like me who are just mediocre, could have used another 10 minutes.
