CSULB-ELMSN Fall 2011
hello, I have a question about this program..i think its stupid but ill ask anyway..if i want to do the elmsn at long beach..i know the first 16 months is to get your bsn then the next 18 months continue to get your msn..I was wondering if you can leave the program once you get your bachelors or are you required to finish the whole program?

thank you for the advice :) I have another question..now does anyone else know any accelerated bsn program here in so-cal, preferably a 1 yr. program. I'm looking around and all I know of is concordia(expensive), csu northridge & mount st. mary's college(expensive)..I want a program that's not too expensive =/.

accelerated bsn or entry level msn
yeah..I guess I'll have to ask a counselor, that's the best way to go about it. ahh..I don't hate science.. I don't love it either but for some reason it just comes easy for me..its weird! lol. Oh but I do NOT like Chemistry hahaa..and as far as philosophy I love ethics not so much of critical thinking..haha!!! anyways good luck on dental or pharmacy school :) I'm doing my pre-reqs right now at a cc while finishing up my dance. Thank you for all the help :) !!! its greatly appreciated !

accelerated bsn or entry level msn
menowhattodo: hello, I was looking at that do you think I can enter the ELMN and I believe the first 18 months was the bsn..and stop there? or do I have to keep going with the program? why would it take long for you to become a nurse? are you planning on going the same route? I'm pretty sure I got the pre-reqs right, chem, physiology & anatomy, micro, patho, pharmacology, sociology or anthropology and I think a couple more.. all these classes are in progress ...as far as psychology & child dev. I finished it already.. my gpa its around 3.8. For different languages.. I'm a fluent writer & speaker when it comes to tagalog(philippines), I can understand spanish but can't talk spanish :/ . Once I get my BSN or MSN I wanted to work for a couple of years to gain the experience and then do the CRNA program, by the way i'm also working on my CNA license this summer so I can start gaining the experience. :)

accelerated bsn or entry level msn
hello, thank you everyone for replying, it was very helpful! I'm doing my pre-reqs now while i'm finishing dance major. I did not know csulb has an acc. bsn..that's really great! I wanted to go there, but didn't know if they had a acc. bsn! I first wanted to be a nurse anesthetist, that was my main goal but thought it would be too long. But I probably would consider that rather than the entry level msn. anyways..any more info is still helpful, and to those who helped THANK YOU!!!!! very much :) by the way how long is csulb accelerated bsn ?

accelerated bsn or entry level msn
Hello, I'm new to this I have a couple of questions. okay so I'm currently getting my B.A. in dance and I went this path because I've always have a love for dance and wanted to get a degree on it, its more of a self achievement rather than making a career out of it, BUT I wanted nursing to be my career. My main goal is to be a Pediatric NP. So I have two plans.. one is.. After I graduate I'm planning to go to Concordia University in Irvine for their 1 year Acc-BSN program..is there anyone who goes there and any tips.. how it works, how much it cost and stuff like that? and after that, I want to get my Pediatric NP certificate at CSULB and if so how long will that take? second is.. should I just enter CSULB MEPN program concentrating on Pediatric NP? if so how long will that take? and if so..any one doing this program? any tips or advise on how to get in..and stuff like that I'm just trying to see how long it will take me to be an Pediatric NP..and if so which route will be faster? Thanks in advance.
