Thx for replying but how I can find this verification letter on the NJ BON?? I already had applied to the visa screen 2 months ago....

Hi all I just passed my NCLEX exam last saturday(Thx god),and I want to know if thier is any link between the cgfns(visa screen)and the nursing board??and how can CGFNS know that I passed my board?? I have an visa screen application with the CGFNS and just waiting for them to know about my new status in order to issue me my certificate. If anyone can help I will be thankfull. N'B:I called the CGFNS and they told e that I must download something called the verification of certification letter from thier site and sent it to the NJ nursing board,but i didn't find this letter,and i addition I don't have any license in NJ coz i am foreign nurse and my license is pending untill i got a sponsor. Hi cefrn I applyied for the Nj board of nursing 3 weeks ago,and after 1 week they recieved me mail telling that I should do the security check in private company and they gave me the web address for it,I think it was www.bioapplicant.com .After I registered and payed you can choose the location near to yr home and i choose irvington and I did the security chrck after i week from registration.In registration day it took me 5 min to finish fingerprinting. That's all and i am waiting to be eligable to sit for nclex. What abou you??

Hi rke18 Just do what silver said,and I will try now ro summerize it for you in steps: 1-apply for any enlish proficiency exam,toelf or ielts because english is the link for all other steps. 2-submit all the required items and papers to cgfns as soon as you ans yr school can because from my experience it could take you till more than 4 month to got yr ces report done and they will not issue it to you unless you pass yr english proficiency tha't because you are applying for NJ BON. 3-after your ces done apply for nclex and NJ BON 4-after 1 week from sending yr application to NJ bon YOU WILL be required to do fingerprinting 5-after 2 month from yr fingerprinting you will be eligalbe to sit for nclex if everything ok in yr paper's and security eck. 6-apply for visa screen During this long period;9 month or maybe alittle more you must study for yr nclex and practicing as much as you can. If you need any help or any question just re-ask me or any member in this forum.

Thx dave and silver I am not in rush at all and i am not new grad. I am here in tourist visa and i will be happy if i did the nclex before my visa expire that's why i am asking. I am giving them all the time for that and believe i am soo cool and patient. Thx guys

Hi and sorry for asking again But i have the ces and i passed the english and they were sent to the NJ bon and i did the security check 2 weeks ago and submit my application to the BON and nclex. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO BE ELIGABLE TO DO THE NCLEX??

Hi rke18 The cgfns will not issue you the ces report without passing the english exam.and you shou have the ces done and sent to the NJ board of nursing in n order to sit for nclex. And about the time and how it will take to be authorized to sit for nclex after the Nj board recieve all the papers,I dunno and I am waiting with you to see if anyone know

Thx alot I am from lebanon and i dunno if the retrogression can affect me or no. I applied for f1 visa on september and my visa will expire in the mid of october,so really i am confused about what will happen if uscis didn't reply before my visa expiration. Hi all Hi suzzy I am applying now to the NJ board of nursing,but when filling the application packet I found that I must have the SSN to be approved to apply.And i am now on tourist visa and don't have any SSN,so what i should do? Should i apply without social security number or not???? Thx Alot

Thx for yr reply suzanne,I am not looking for immediate things to be done,I am here on tourist visa but i applied last week for student F1 visa in order to stay legal in usa. They recieved the last paper on july 9 so my report as u are saying will be done in september 9.The paper i am waiting to be reviewed is the clinical hours for mental and psychiatric training and they recieved it but i don't know why it should take 7 weeks to be reviewed. Anyway,I faced many problems with CGFNS,U know suzanne you should call them and follow up your file regurarly or they will postpone you as long as they can. Last question plz,shall i apply for the visa screen now or after passing the nclex?and are the papers used for the ces are the same for visa screen or i should get new transcripts from nursing school and pass through the whole process that i had already did?? Hi to all members, I am really facing a difficult problem with the cgfns especially in having my ces report.My status for the transcript validation form from nursing school is recieved but not reviewd since july 9 all the other requirements had met the CGFNS standards and I passed the english proficiency exam,so i am just waiting for this paper to be reviewed by them and till now nothing changed.I called them alot but thier is no answer,they always tell me that i should count 6 to 8 weeks after this paper was recieved in july 9.It is now 7 weeks and nothing happened and really i need the ces report to be finished before my visa status expire.I want to apply for NJ nursing board before october. I am really confused and not knowing what happened.
