  1. I was born & raised in NW Ohio, lived in AL, CA, & NY - Moved back in the 80's and for me, this is home. I love our flatlands, cornfields and "amber waves of grain." I'll probably be a Buckeye until the day I die!
  2. Bless you for being a true patient advocate. Good luck to you. It's unfortunate that you have to endure this - all in the name of patient rights.
  3. Isn't it amazing how much flack you receive for your standard of care? It makes me wonder what other nurses are doing (sometimes on previous shifts) that some of the care concerns aren't addressed. I've had situations where a previous shift gives you the information but says "I didn't want to call the doc just yet, we've been monitoring........." Pass the buck, please! There was a recent report that indicated several hundred thousand people who have died due to inadequate care. We don't need that kind of headline!
