    I have been in both situations and they both have positives and negatives. Basically it is not fun to be run over by stingy and greedy administrators, so I vote yes for the union.

    Without a doubt. As should nurses who are certified in their particular field of nursing.

    :balloons: My name is Lynn and I am currently living in Tampa, FL. I am a native of Clovis, moved to Arkansas to school, then to Canyon, TX where I graduated from nursing school in 1980. Moved to Tucson for 2 years, then San Francisco 6 years, then Albuquerque for 10 years, then Denver for 18 months, then Minneapolis for over 3 years, and finally am in Tampa to get my masters/NP in Psychiatry and Gerontology. I have worked psych and hospice all my career. I would love to return home to NM when I get out of school but wonder about job possibilities there. That is why I left to Denver. I had taken a few years off to care for my mom and myself and when it came time to return to work, there was little work around for me. Anyone know about NP psych or geropsych in Albuquerque or Santa Fe? Nice to see this list. Lynn
