  1. Anyone know a state without the 4yr rule or 3 attempts rule?
  2. Good day to all nurses, and to future nurses alike, I have a very big dilemma right now. Let me quickly run down my history so you will have a better picture. I graduated BSN and is an RN in the P.I., last 2008, came to Texas 2010 and became a US citizen last year. Unfortunately, I failed NCLEX 3 times(worked as a Unit Clerk and Monitor Tech in hosp), and have been told that I am over the 4 year limit since I graduated. The TX BON advisor told me to apply to another state, then have the license moved to TX. My question is what state will I apply to? I still have my CGFNS verification at hand (willing to pay to resend verification to a new state), and all my paper works and grades. Where is the easiest/fastest processing time to apply? I need to take the exam either Late December or Early Jan. since me and wife will have divorce and I want to have the license before that happens. I know it's messed up but, I need to get things straight and pass this one final time as she will leave the kids to me. Need to focus hard this time, no more time to fail. I am also currently answering Uworld 100 Q's per night, and reading 2-3 chapters on Saunders. Once I finish Saunders, I will buy Lacharity prioritization delegation. Thank you, keep smiling, and God bless to all!
  3. Hello mga Kabayan! We're all in the same boat huh? :) I'm in TX right now. I graduated 2007, then worked in a call center. Came here 2010, took the NCLEX RN exam 3 mos after arrival and FAILED! Honestly, I did not study hard, and was extremely unfocused. I am having a hard time studying, work and kids. I have Kaplan and Saunders reviewers on top of my computer table, which is untouched. I do not know how to study and where to start. If you can also guide me, I will really appreciate it.
  4. Will be taking this June 6... I hope 2nd time is the luck!!!
  5. Good luck! I will also be taking the exam first week of April. Hope we all pass! God bless!
  6. Congratulations! I am using Saunders and Kaplan as of the moment, I hope these works for me.. :)
  7. That is also what I am thinking. Just want to clarify, maybe there is an expert working for BON here. Got to call them tomorrow then. Thank you Silverdragon. :)
  8. Just a quick question, is the retake fee for California Nclex increased? I received a mail informing me to pay $75, but when I tried to download the form, it says $150 retake fee.
  9. Hello, I was wondering where to download the form where it has the $75 fee on the top. I went to http://www.rn.ca.gov/pdfs/applicants/reapply.pdf but the form there has a $150 fee. It says here on my letter that I only need to pay $75. Also what does "Last exam applied for" mean? Does that mean the date I tool the last exam, or the date I sent the application requirements to Cali BON? Thank you...
