  1. YAY!!!! Congrats!!! Mine just came in the mail too! I got in also! So happy for the both of us!!! :nurse:
  2. No I haven't heard anything but I was also told that I would find out either way
  3. My interview went pretty good, but I will just have to wait and see. There was a girl coming out when I went in with bright purple hair, jeans, a halter top and flip flops..... I guess some people aren't really serious! CRAZY!!!! Well now we are all done.... Now we just have to wait.... :nurse: Class of 2012!!!! (hopefully)
  4. Wow Tippy that sounds like you had an awesome interview! It also sounds like you were dressed perfect and it is always better to be over dressed than under dressed. Now it's my turn and I'm really nervous !!!!! I'm so glad that both of your interviews went well and hopefully mine does too!
  5. Thank you! That's what my husband said. Good luck on your interview! You will do great. I couldn't imagine them interviewing everyone but I don't know. From everything that I have read it states that they only interview certain people.
  6. I finally got the call today!!! My interview is next Wednesday. I'm really nervous now. Even more since I just found out that I'm pregnant... Hope that doesn't hurt my chances
  7. Congrats Tippy! That is great news. I still haven't got a call and pretty sure I'm not going to. Both times I took my test my scores were good but I guess not good enough for Muskogee campus! Maybe next time.
  8. Congrats!!!!! I'm really happy for you! No I didn't get a call and I don't think that I will be getting one. I just don't think that I had enough points.....
  9. Tippy it sounds like you shouldn't have any problems getting in even with the math scores. Everything else that you have going for you should show them how serious and determined your are about this program. My test sounds just like the one you took, mostly %'s and fractions. The worst kind!
  10. From everything that I have read it said that about 2 weeks after the final test date they would be calling for interviews.
  11. I applied to Muskogee. Tippy-ta-ta, On the first page of the test it was saying that there were practice questions added in the actual test. There were four in each category that weren't counted. I think that is so stupid! Those were probably ones that everyone got right!!! This is the first year they are using the TEAS... I was told that it was because so many people were passing the NET and that with taking this harder test then they won't have so many people to choose from. Did you score above what was required? If you did then I bet you will get in because of the extra points you will get. :)
  12. I hope that means that it is good. I only have 12 points also. I'm just nervous about all the people that have extra points, but maybe they will look at our scores also and not just base it off of the points. Hopefully we both get that call :) I just hate waiting.... it's the worst part.
  13. Yeah it is only reading and math. That's crazy how many people are applying. But the average scores for the group of people that took the test yesterday wasn't high enough to even be considered. I didn't have any extra points. NONE!!! That's why I took the test again. I guess I will just have to wait and see but I still think that I won't get accepted.
  14. I took my test again yesterday for the second time and did so much better. It was around 3:45 yesterday when I got online and saw my scores. I bombed Science again but all the others I did really well on. I just hope that it is good enough to get into the school. There were about 50+ people taking the test with me yesterday.
  15. Tippy-ta-ta, I'm sorry about the test. It sounds like you did what I did. I thought I was gonna do great also. I think that we over complicated it and were nervous. The next time that we take it we will do great. When I got my scores I was disappointed in myself and cried too! So many emotions!!!! When it said that the mean program avg was 55.6 that means that out of the people that took the test with you the avg. was 55.6. I'm glad that you asked how many people they accept. That makes me feel a little better!!! Prayingforthebest- When I was saying that 16 people passed I was referring to the NCLEX-PN. It just showed that 16 people took the test from Muskogee and 16 from Sallisaw and there were less from Tahlequah. My Science did REALLY REALLY suck the first time I took the test; thank goodness those scores don't count. I'm not sure how they chose who gets in and who doesn't. I'm making myself sick over all of it.I just want in so bad. I don't want to have to wait another year. I have already waited 2, I can't wait anymore!!!
  16. Good luck! You will do great! You can also check your results on the ATI website at about 3:00 today, maybe a little sooner!
  17. Yes, it broke down each ICTC campus individually and told how many took the test and the % that passed on the first attempt. I think it was 16 from the Sallisaw campus and 16 from the Muskogee campus and less from the other two.
  18. You should do pretty good on the math. Just don't try to make it harder then it is. That was my problem. The reading is definately the easiest part of the test. I don't know how many are accepted; I was gonna ask u the same question. I did look on the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing to see their pass rate and it showed that in 2009 only 16 people took the test.
  19. Oh yeah, there was about 30 people taking the test when I did and the overall average score of the group was 55.6. The national average on this test is 63.3. It's pretty difficult.
  20. It didn't help me at all on the math. That was the main subject in the book that I studied everyday. The test was pretty hard for me because it wasn't what I had been studying. I felt prepared based off of the McGraw-Hill's book but most of the math on the test was a lot more simple then what I had been studying. I was trying to make it more difficult then it was. I decided to get the actual TEAS study guide and take it one more time to try and get my scores in the 90's, because my test scores are the only thing that I will have going for me.
  21. They only look at the math and the reading. I used the McGraw-Hill's book to study and the only thing that it helped me with was the Science. I studied that book for about 2-3 hours a day and I felt like I wasted my time once I got my scores. After you take the test you will be able to look at your results on the ATI website about 4 hours later and it will also tell you the average scores of the people that took the test with you.
  22. I am planning on attending Indian Capital in Muskogee. I just took my TEAS test yesterday and scored above what is needed but I want my scores to be higher. Have you already taken the test?
