Hey Music, I think you have to have all the science pre req done before you enter the program. Be sure they fit what they want. Best thing to do is apply and send your transcripts and AS degree to WGU, they will get back to you in a few weeks and let you know what you need. They will also line you up with an enrollment counselor, they will walk you through the process. Once you have your pre req's done, or getting close to have them done, take the TEAS test. all of the information is on the WGU web site. I have a prior BS in Health Science and Respiratory Care. What Pre Req's do you need that your local CC does not have?

Hello all, I was just accepted for the March 2012 CSMC cohort! SO excited. Just wondering who my 9 classmates will be!! Congrats to you all, look forward to meeting you!

Did you get in? I just got the call yesterday! I was accepted for the CSMC cohort! I am so excited to start!!

I turned mine in in September, they called to interview me Oct 25th.

Has anyone applied for the Fall 2012 Cohort yet? Just mailed my app today... Already freaking out. Ugh...

Apparently not any more... a bit hypocritical I think! The admission counselor just told me they no longer accept online A&P and Micro....

Congrats to both of you on getting in! I am looking into applying for the October cohort. Have you guys talked to the CA BRN about coming back to CA to take the NCLEX and get your lisc here? I know the CA board wont take some schools, and before I spend 14 months in vegas, I want to be sure I can get back to LA. =-) Also, what did they say about schedules? Will we be in class and clinical 5 days a week? HOw mush of it is truly "online" from home? Thanks!!

Well I am left second guessing... I did not get in. =-P I just don't know what to change if I decide to apply again to UCLA next year....

I am guessing the health care experience does not help much. I do not know what I could have done different. I have been working in health care for 14 years. Been a respiratory therapist for 11 years. I work in neonatal and pediatric critical care. Worked for a neurorehabilitation while in school for my bachelors for 3 years. Research with one of the top Children's Hospitals in the country. Educator for TOBI (drug for kids with CF) Volunteer experience in health care and community service events. Certified already in BLS, NRP, PALS and ACLS. Letters of rec from my nurse manager, another RN I work with and my attending physician. Bachelors in Health Science and Respiratory Care. Grades were similar to those who were admitted on here... I don't know what else I could have changed. Any ideas?

I am so nervous. I don't know if reading this has helped or hurt! Hopefully we will all find out soon...
