  1. I have had major problems with depression my entire adult life (well, since high school) I am now 31. It has been a major factor in my destruction of my career. After years of counseling and finally finding a med regime that works, I'm trying resurrect my career. I am devastated to say, it's a no-go. Even with the state of nursing today, I cannot get a nursing job. I've decided to get my RN and try to start with a clean slate. I guess we'll see. I love nursing and it's all I know. Also, I'm not trying to make ya'll feel sorry for me, but I sure wish I would be given another chance. (more like about the 6th)
  2. I have no problem helping the CNAs, but I resent it when the more help I give, the less the CNA does. I was in that situation and it led to a VERY bad attitude on my part. There are things that must been done at certain times. Guess we all have war stories, eh? :)
  3. I am outraged. I also own a fax and I'm not afraid to use it!!:wink2:
  4. I used to work in Buffalo. The facility is excellent (Johnson County Healthcare Center). I cannot say anything bad about the setup. I work at Amie HOlt ( the LTC) The entire facility is linked together and under one roof (acute, LTC everything) Very easy to get around. Buffalo is in the Big Horn mountains. It's gorgous. Lots of fishing, hunting, and history nearby. They fired me and I can't say anything bad of importance!!
