Thank you for that information!! I appreciate you answering all of these questions! So excited to start and so ready for orientation. I will continue to think about my work situation.. my work schedule is already going to be messed up because i was only able to get holistic nursing on Monday-Friday instead of Monday-Wednesday, and Fran clearly told me that she was unable to make any overrides.. although i did see alot of them in the past semesters? I guess they save the overrides for the standby students..

To anyone already in the program- Do any of you guys have a part time job? I work at a daycare center 4 days a week and I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the work load for the courses during the first semester. I am trying to decide whether or not to keep my job or if it is realistic to have a job while being in the nursing program. I am in the traditional program, so i will only have holistic, patho and health assessment. I hear that the workload is pretty intense but i think that it may be doable if i managed my time the right way... please let me know what you guys think, i appreciate any opinions :)

GTqueen- If we do buy the pants from another place can we get them with the wide legs at the bottom? I feel like those would fit over our shoes alot better! I was planning on buying from Merdys just to make sure the pants were okay, but if you are already in nursing school and say that people are getting them elsewhere i would be okay with that too! PLease let me know!

OMG i really hope they actually go out this week.. my fingers are literally shaking as i am typing this. The suspense is so intense..it has been such a long time coming! We started this journey all the way back in May, and if any of you are like me.. you have been stalking these threads since you started college LOL

The suspense is already killing me! I am so ready to find out.. but I do have to say that I felt like a thousand pounds had been lifted off of me after my interview was over! Good luck to all of us and i really hope letters do go out the week after the 29th!

i have an 3.83 gpa, 84 on the TEAS and I do have volunteer experience.. I hear that they look at 5 components..overall gpa, best 5 of 7 prereqs, science gpa, teas score and interview.. hopes this helps.. they all weigh about 20% from what i have heard in the past

Does anybody have any idea when our interviews will be? My interview letter for the traditional program said that we would recieve a letter with more information regarding interview signups.. i wonder when that will be?! Everytime I try to sign up I still get a stop sign on owl express

Well if that is the case, getting the interview letter is a step in the right direction! I am just nervous about the interview, im not sure whether they look more at your personality or how you answer the questions.. so nervous!!

I also got my letter! I am interviewing for the Traditional program! I wonder how many they are interviewing?

My letter said that we will receive another letter telling us when/how to sign up for interviews! I am so nervous now! I have a 3.83 over all GPA and an 84.5 on the TEAS.. looks like you guys have competitive GPAs as well! I hope we all get in! :)
