  1. I'm waiting to get my letters as well as I appled to three programs. I am mostly a B student with one 'A' in my core. I scored in the 95th percentile on the nln exam and Thursday I had my interview which you are only picked if you had one of the top points. The other ppl interviewing told me that if you had gotten that far than you are one of like 50 and they only pick 35.The other programs don't interview, they just go by your GPA and test scores. Do you think I need to retake a class and get another 'A' if I don't get it? I'm sorry, the suspense is killing me and if I don't get in, I think i'm gonna die!! Thanks
  2. I don't know about anyone else's nursing program but in Georgia, it is really competitive! There's no waiting list, if you don't get in you have to wait until next acceptance period. Most only take 40 to 50 people at a time and some are twice a year and some are once. Some take more but anyway I have all my prereq's and just took the pax exam and take the teas exam on April 21st. I still have to get some reference letters and turn in some other stuff. I applied to like 5 programs, three ADN and 2 bachelor's. I only have one class for my bachelor's degree, my second chemistry. It's all just waiting from here.....
  3. I just took the pax for the second time and I got a 137. The first time I got a 121. The study guide is very very helpful because there are alot of questions that have nothing to do with nursing. This book will definitely help a lot. Best Wishes to everyone!
  4. Yeah, sorry bout that.. What's ur email so u can give me a little insight. I ordered that book and hopefully I do better than the 4. I did really good in the reading part, it was the science and math that got me. I done brushed up on ratios and proportions and percentages. I just gotta study the conversions and stuff;)
  5. I have taken the TEAS 4, I scored pretty good on it but from these threads it seems like the 5 is alot harder. I am about to take the TEAS V. I have also taken the PAX-RN exam, I scored a composite of 121 on it, so i'm going to take it again just to be safe. Another school is asking me to take the NLN preentrance exam which I thought was the same thing as the PAX, but it's not. I take that test on the third. Has anyone ever taken that exam and if so, was is the format on it?
