PSB-NAT ?
That sucks The best time to take the NAT is after AP1 and Chem... But keep in mind that you can only take it 2x a year and inbetween those times there has to 90days. Good luck!!!!! I took the book back because someone put it on hold. So Now I will have to recheck it out in May to study for the test.

PSB-NAT ?
Go to the library tutor center and ask them to refer a good Chem teacher. They usually know more than other people and ratemyprofessor.com. I took it in Lake city.. Not sure how the one at FSCJ works. Alot of the ACP jobs at ST.Vincents says preferred CNA or Nursing student. They do prefer you to have your CNA though... I'm taking Micro in the summer. Trying to pick a teacher now. It is hard since I work till 5pm. I take classes at all the campuses because of that. I'm debating between two teachers now. They both seem good the only problem is one is on Saturday. Well it will be my only class I will be taking so we shall see what I decide. I'll let you know how it goes and give you name since you are taking it in the fall right?

PSB-NAT ?
No my chem teacher was not the best and he is no longer teaching. I actually worked as a CNA for 5yrs before my current desk job of 5yrs. I am no longer certified and would have to challege the test. It cost 190 to take it. I am unsure of all the changes so I don't want to waste the money. I am going to wait till I start the program and start applying to hospitals for a ACP or tech job (CNA work) you just don't have to be certified if you are in the program. I have currently been applying to jobs but they are not calling back. I think they would if I got recertified or was in the program. My cousin did the program in 2007 and did CNA work PRN while doing the program. Some people can work full time and go to school. Just depends on what all you can handle. I have a 3 yr old so I'm not going to work a full time job whenever I start the program. It would be too much. I hope we do get in the same time because I will need a study partner. I do better with my classes when I interact with someone else outside of the class. I like doing study groups and stuff like that. It really helps when trying to learn. Someone else always knows something you didn't :)

PSB-NAT ?
IT cost 40 dollars to take each time. Save both sets of scores. Turn them in and they will use the highest from each part that came directly from the lady over it. It seems so far away but to me it doesn't because I started in the fall 2010 to this path and I'm taking AP2 and sociology this term. Next term I'm taking Micro. I got to find a teacher for Micro that will be teaching in the evenings or the weekends who actually teaches you and helps you understand it. I am going to apply for the fall without my micro points but probably will not get in till the Spring because I will have all my points then :)

PSB-NAT ?
My second post since the first one didn't work... They have a book to study at the college. You can rent it. Make sure to know Chemistry and A&P. It was overall not that hard depending on what you remember. Hope to see you in the spring.

FSCJ Spring 2012 - point cutoff?
THANKS!!! Well maybe we will be in the same class together. Yea I work full time as well so I can't take days either. I cannot get PM yet in here. How did you do on the NAT test? Why are you not going to apply for the summer? I guess I will wait and see who is available when they put it up and go from there with my research on ratemyprofessor which sometimes can be wrong.. ugh.. Sorry that your Micro class isn't going that well. I have had teachers like that and it didn't turn out so good for me. I got a C in AP1 because of my teacher lacking good teaching skills. I might have did better if it was hybrid in that case.

When are you applying to the program? I plan on applying in the fall. I take the Nat today. I'm currently taking 2 classes then I have to finsih micro in the summer. Who did you take for micro and would you recommend them to me? I need to get a A or B in micro. I have all A's and B's except for one C. PSB-NAT ?
Yeah that does make sense now.. I finally found it on the fscj website and it did answer some of my questions.. I think I will take it after chem and ap1. then again after all the classes are done before applying.. Any good advice for me on teachers for CHM1032c, college algebra, AP1&2 or Micro???? I prefer to be extra prepared.. Thanks!!!!!!

PSB-NAT ?
Thank you both so much for the help .. How on earth do you take it once then have to wait 12 more months to take it.. that really isn't fair in my book... I'm confused. I have heard so many different stories. So once you take it you have to wait a whole 12mths before taking it again? where can you take it at?

PSB-NAT ?
Hi there, I am taking my pre-req for the rn program. I plan to attend in the spring of 2013. I was hoping some one would know when I should attempt to try and take the PSB-NAT test? I would like to take it at least twice before I apply. I haven't taken my chemistry class or AP1&2 or Micro yet. Should I go ahead and try the first attempt now or wait or what?? Also what books should I study? Thanks for any help..... :)
