  1. if you have both 1190/1191 and english done, i think it would be fine to take philosophy
  2. I heard once you start clinicals in term 2 onwards, it is impossible to manage more than 1 shift of work per week. It really depends on the person, how they manage their time and schedule. Hope that helps :)
  3. are you taking philosphy this summer ? I took it last semester with ** he was a really nice guy and that course was not bad, attend all your classes, review your notes and you should be good. Lectures are kinda boring, 80% of the people bring their laptops and just surf the net or play games during the lectures. Hope that helps, good luck !! thanks
  4. hey Ian, are you taking biology 1190 this summer semester ??
  5. has anyone gotten their immunization forms yet ?
  6. how's the blood pressure workshop ? how long are the hospital visits ? thanks
  7. is pathophysiology really hard ? which teachers are recommended ? thanks
  8. Hey Ian, I heard that the clinicals are usually 6:30-3:30pm on monday-wednesday. I believe they start in term 2, term 1 is just some hospital tours. Also it depends which hospital your placement is at. I have a buddy in term 5, and his tuesdays and wednesday clinicals run until 10pm at night. Did you hand in your langara criminal check form yet ? Cheers ! Enoch
  9. yup that's right green tea !!! did you get in for september 2011?
  10. haha, yeah Ian, now I can go into term 1 feeling a little more at peace knowing that at least there is another guy in the program. Cheers, Enoch
  11. Erik, that sounds pretty intense, I can't wait to start term 1 in September, hopefully i will be able to manage and balance my schedule around. Btw, are there alot of presentations and group projects in term 1 ? thanks
  12. its nice to know, at least I wont be the only guy in the nursing program in September :)
  13. hey lilaclover, i called ****** from Langara, she is in charge of nursing applications. rollerover means, we were expected for the January intake but they have a spot for us in sept. so that means we are in for SEPT, i confirmed with her, she will send out confirmations this week, once we accept the program. She will send out the documents. Yehhhh:) finally after 2 years of waitlisting. Congrats !!!!!
  14. lilaclover, are u expected a spot for the upcoming sept ? also are u taking any bio 1190 or biomedical ethics at the moment ?
  15. hey guys, quick question, last week, i called the langara admissions clerk, and she told me that I got accepted and have a spot for the upcoming September intake for nursing. Now, today I got a email for langara saying that my application status is waitlist rollover. What does that mean ? i have to wait for the next intake than ? that doesn't make any sense at all
