  1. Prioritization and delegation, SATA, and infection control. I personally wouldn't get crazy studying one particular subject, just do as many practice questions as possible. If you get the Saunders CD you can set the questions to come up randomly and I think that is the way to go. I spent way too much time studying lab values and endocrine and the majority of my test was psych and pharm. I just thought I could've had the same result and not stressed out so much about memorizing specifics in any one area. I used the Saunders 4th edition CD, Kaplan 2010-2011 NCLEX-RN prep book, and Prioritization and Delegation by LaCharity. Good luck!!!!!
  2. In my opinion, neither. The majority of the questions I had were prioritization and SATA. LaCharity was the most useful for these types of questions. I think it's a toss up as far as what you use for content review, but I thought Saunders questions were way easier than what was on the NCLEX. Good Luck!!!!!!!
  3. I just took my NCLEX today. The LaCharity book previously mentioned is a must. Other than that I don't think it matters what book you use for content. I used Kaplan 2010-2011 Strategies and Saunders 4th Edition CD for review. I personally felt that LaCharity was the most useful for preparation. The others are good just so you have lots of different questions to answer.
  4. How do you know you got the last question wrong? I don't think getting the last question right or wrong is the determining factor for passing or failing. I took the test today and felt the same exact way. I was sure I had failed because I felt like I guessed on almost every question. I did the trick and got the "good pop up" and I was pretty sure that there was no way I had passed. I won't get to excited until I get the official results. Try not to get down on yourself!! Feeling like you failed is completely normal.
