Congratulations Hilary!:yelclap: That's awesome! Did you apply to MGH's direct entry program (BS/MS combined)? That program is amazing!!!! I didn't apply to it, but one of my really good friends did and she is going this fall. She had to choose between NYU and MGH, she chose MGH.

The official deposit is/was due three weeks from the day you received the acceptance email (i.e. I received my letter 4/15, so it would be due 5/6). Hope this helps! I really don't think they are waiting for deposits because it is rolling decisions essentially. I think they are just trying to review as many as possible before the next batch goes out. Plus the head of admissions is away at the moment, so that probably has slowed the process down a bit. :)

My goodness! What is taking so long? All of you are being such good sports about this! :yelclap:You have been waiting so long! I though they were supposed to send another batch out today? Maybe after 5 pm (the end of the work day)? I'll keep my fingers crossed for everybody!

I applied to Columbia too and was put on the wait-list. KKandes and I shared similar experiences throughout the entire process. I already heard from NYU, but I thought they were supposed to send another batch today? Didn't someone hear that?

Hey, I'm actually feeling a little ill, so I am going in to see the school tomorrow instead, but I will definitely look into those things.:)

Hey everybody, My transcripts have been checked off for a while. As for admissions going in alphabetical order for decisions, my last name starts with an "S" as a lot of you already know, so I don't think they are doing that. I think they are just trying to get everyone's applications complete by making sure everything is collected, then they review the ones that are complete. And I am excited for tomorrow!!!! Hopefully, it will be a GREAT Friday!

Hey guys! I know NYU accepts a ton of scholarships that are not listed on that website, so don't worry. You just need to call NYU's financial aid office to see what they will accept. My friend did this undergrad at NYU, that's why I know a little bit about it. Regis in Mass has rolling admissions and they also have a direct-entry program, but that's the only one I know of.

When I talked to admissions, multiple people told me not to follow Albert since it is fairly a new system and it does not always accurately depict what your application status is. You should call or email, but I highly recommend emailing over calling :) Hope this helps. Today might be another round!!!! GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY!!!! :)

I don't really know, but I'm sure they have another batch that they have gone through and are just releasing them slowly. The deposit is due 3 weeks from when your acceptance email was sent out.
