If night classes start at 2pm, I wouldn't be able to make it. Working 8-5 every day. But thank you for the informartion!

I did look int o PTec online LPN program. The only problem I have with that are the clinicals. Its once a week for night shift and every other weekends. I would not be able to do the night shift. So I may have to start to my prereqs. I may take some classes at SPC and some at HCC. It may be my only option. Do you like HCC as far as classes are concern? Are you taking day or night classes? And yes, you should be an advisor! lol I hope I can catch up. If not, I'll be right behind you. :)

No, I haven't finished my prereqs. Tho I did look into HCC and SPC requirements. I might just do HCC considering they have night classes. Do you know if HCC has any online classes that I can take some prereqs classes in? I was told by someone SPC has some but it is tough to do. Thank you for your response!! This is very helpful to me in making a big decision in my life. :)

Hello. I have been searching all these threads to only become more confused and slightly insecured. Some of these threads are over 2 years old. Not sure if the information there is still valid. I have been an MA for over 10 yrs in Tampa and would like to go back to school and get my RN. I have heard of some schools out there are good, but would only be for day classes. I know trying to find a RN program for evening/weekend classes is almost close to impossible. I have to keep my day job and changing that could not be an option for me unfornunately. Anyone out there that has any information that can help? What schools out there (if any) for evenings? Maybe a student or has graduated? Any feed back would be great. Thank you!

Wow. I myself was considering CC rather than other Insitutes. I know the tuition is high and classes are shorter. But if you go thru the hassle of pre-reqs and then placed on a waiting list, wouldn't it be easier to go to an Insitute?
