Ok thanks...That makes me feel a lot better!!! If I dont get into nursing school in the Fall, i am going to get the LPN route then a bridge program to get my RN

Ok Thank you so much...I am getting stressed that I wont get into nursing school...so my back up plan is to get my LPN then do a bridge program to get my RN.

OOO!! I just realized that you are 40 and do not have SAT or ACT scores!! Im sorry. In that case you will have to take some sort of test... try SPC...I know a lot of kids who didnt do so well on the entrance test but still got it.

I live in Oldsmar. I know that SPC and HCC and USF dont have entrance exams. Those are the three schools I will be applying to in the fall. I am a freshman now and have taken 17 credit hrs this semester, and next semester 21 credits!!! And if worse comes to worse...take the TEAS (which I think most schools want) and just see how you do..you may surprise yourself :) (I hate standarized testing as well!!)

Is it easier to get into nursing school (RN) if you are an LPN?? versus a pre-nursing student

I have my A and P1 exam on Friday. I am not that confident and all I have been doing the past week is studying. I am concerned that if I get a bad grade ©, I will never get into a nursing program. Do you think one C will ruin my chances?

I am going to apply to USF, SPC, and HCC in the fall. If I do not get in, I will get my credits needed for U of tampa, hoping I will have an easier chance of getting in there. But do you think having my CNA license before hand and volunteering at HOSPICE will help???

pre-nursing tests??

My program starts Jan 20... I have the Exam Cram book as well! I have not started looking at it as I am busy with Finals this week but as soon as I am done with my exams I am going to begin studying the skills (which is may main concern) A lot of the questions do seem like common sense.

How is the CNA exam...whats it like?? any thoughts would be appreciated! :)

Im in Florida. All the programs here have a day and night program. I just figured most people would pick the day program?? and that I would have a better shot at getting into the night program.

For SPC and HCC You dont need to take an entrance exam...at least i dont think.
