  1. Thank you all for your insight, I bought the barrons's w/ my 50% off at Borders. I am wanting flash cards to pre study while at work. I will make my own once I start class. Thanks all!
  2. Hi all, Made it through Bio 111 and am on to A&P. Does any body have a recomendation for flash cards? I seems like there are several brands available. Good Luck to all for the summer session.
  3. Something I used to do with flashcards that seemed to be effective was go for a walk while I looked at them. Maybe it has to do with my ADD but walking and memorization seemed to work well.
  4. I have this worry as well. When my son was born size 9 was not even close. If any body out there is also a fire fighter I was turned on to a structure glove that comes in size jumbo:)
  5. The way I have dealt with this in the EMS world is, that the person is dead whether you are there or not, and just do the best job you can.
  6. I am in Bio 111 as a pre rec for A&P and the teacher is horrible. I have never thought of my self as a science person but really enjoy pt care. I have worked in EMS for about 6 years now and I am wanting to go into nurseing. I am getting through the class but I am questioning whether I will be able to pull an A. Am I doomed? From my intern shifts in the ED it seems there is so much more to nuresing than the covalent bonds of hydrocarbons. Thanks for the advise and the vent.
