Interview after interview..
With all these budget cuts, its MERELY impossible in California to get a job without having a "connection". Frustrating thing?? a lot of hospitals are short nurses but won't hire "new grads"... even with almost a year under my belt of home health (because that was the only job I could get)., it's still not considered experience. SMH. frustrating but what are ya going to do. I just had a interview for a NICU position (where my heart lies) and I'm fighting who knows how many individuals for ONE position. Interview went well, and just crossing fingers for that call back. Any of you with the same issues? HANG IN THERE!!

i HATE waiting for NCLEX-rn results
So I've basically spent my day irritable and emotional. NOT GOOD for a work day. Once I got home from a hectic 12 hour shift, I CRIED MY EYES OUT. why? Because I took my exam on Tuesday and felt nothing but relief, confusion, frustration, and any other emotion you can think of. Believe me, this was definitely not my first time taking it, but it sure as hell felt like it was my first time all over again!!! The first time i took it, I took the whole exam. This time I ended at 98 in about 4 hours. Once i SAW THE BLUE SCREEN, I felt relieved. Relieved because it was over...but then sat there and thought about it then asked myself, "WAIT! SHOULD I BE HAPPY THAT IT'S OVER?!" haha. I HAD A HELL OF A LOT OF SATA'S, PRIORITY/DELEGATION, a FEW pharm questions (BUT NO MED CALCULATIONS..JUST PHARM), 1 EXHIBIT Question, 2 Graphic/hot spots and 2 drag and drops and some infection precautions. I swear SATA's were coming left and right..I wanted to poke my eyes out every time I saw a Select all that apply question. haha. Anyway!i tried the pearsonvue trick and I GOT A GOOD POP UP... but i'm not getting excited JUST YET.. My poor boss and co-workers have to deal with my crazy butt at work five days a week for the next week! or until I find out. SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME GOOD WORDS OF ADVICE TO CALM DOWN!! OR DID ANY OF YOU HAVE ALMOST THE SAME CRAZINESS AS I DID? hahaha
