  1. the position is Internal medicine out patient care. i currently work at 2 other facilities but because of my work history (none) i get low hours and low pay. i understand im not gonna land a perfect job right out of school, but i didnt think itd be this difficult.
  2. The position I just got hired for is for an on call position. I was so excited to get it that I didn't ask what an on call schedule is like. I don't start till mid April. Can any on call nurses help me out?
  3. my test was similar. i stopped at 85. but to be honest i dont think the number of questions matters. there was i girl in my class that only had 50 and passed. and another that got 102 and passed. im sure you did fine. congrats and good luck
  4. i stopped at 85. good luck :)
  5. learning ext was extremely helpful. but its only good if you have time to really study and use it. its really the only thing i used. i studied for a month straight everyday for about 12 hrs a day. two days of for work (doubles) :/. but if you really study using it ull be fine. the nclex was nothing like the test i took at school. the questions are structured different and learning ext helped me with figuring out what the questions were actually saying. do the review and ALL practice tests at the end. good luck hope this helps.
  6. Just a follow up post... i just want to say thank you to everyone that helped me out here... i finally got my results and i passed!!!!

  12. hello everybody, first post here. So i graduated nursing school Aug 2010. ill be taking my NCLEX-PN exam Jan. 4th 2011. I wanted to take it earlier but because of application errors ( not my own, another students error), resulted in a delay in processing. I've been studying for about a month 1/2 and taking practice tests along the way. I'm avg. about 60% on tests...!!!... I graduated with a high B low A percentage in school. im extremely scared i wont pass the nclex because of these practice test results. from what i read its impossible to really study for the NCLEX because they can ask you anything about ANYTHING. i need help... is anyone having or had the same problem? when i graduated i was super confident... not so much now. any advice? im almost at my breaking point. its hard to stay positive when u have so many people"oh youll pass dont worry", but getting results like this.
