  1. Kayla...are you going on Wed-Thurs-Fri? We've probably passed each other in the hall and don't even know! LOL I'm there Mon-Tues-Wed. Ashley...are you doing okay your way? :) So far, so good. I'm now studying for 2 exams for next week. We had 2 this week as well. Only 7 more days in each class this quarter! Wooohooo!! LOL
  2. Thanks! Just got back from orientation. Pretty much went the same. We did get our schedules but will get our books Monday, the first day of class. I will be going on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I know it's going to be hard! Physicals, immunizations & titers have to be done by May 18th. I wish you the best! Keep me updated on how you're doing.
  3. Kayla...what exactly does the orientation consist of? I'll be going tomorrow, from 9 am - 1 pm. Also, when do we have to have our physicals? :)
  4. For sure! I'm excited too!
  5. I just got the call from the Nursing Chair. I have been accepted and have orientation Monday. :)
  6. Huntington, WV :)
  7. Some of them are regionally accredited. They are all nationally accredited. Iluvpatho...please, do NOT feel bad for those of us applying or already accepted into ITT's Nursing Program. I don't feel bad for myself in the least. Not sure why you're holding a grudge against ITT but just let it go, not worth it
  8. I'm still waiting for the phone call. ------ is supposed to be making them tomorrow. As you know, the quarter was extended a week. Orientation is Monday. I'm very anxious to find out either way. Someone comes up to me and starts cursing, I think I'd have to flip on 'em and scare 'em. Shouldn't be messing with the nursing students...lol
  9. Lol....so the others are scary? That's funny! What is it about them that makes you uncomfortabale? I'll be happy, of course, if I get in this round but I know there's always next time
  10. Congratulations!
  11. The Huntington campus didn't have a school code listed in FAFSA but I just did my FAFSA renewal, called our campus and she gave me the school code. I took the HESI A2 yesterday...and passed! It wasn't as bad as I thought and although I didn't do as well as I hoped, I finished with a 91.19%. I got a 94% on the math alone. ----- says she hopes to be able to make the phone calls on the 25th. Kayla...How is everything going for you & hubby?
  12. That is wonderful! You both have awesome careers to look forward to! I have had 5 years of college already and have my ASMBC so I know most of the material as well. It still makes me nervous...lol. I also bought a study guide but it's different from the one they offer at ITT so I'm hoping that doesn't make a difference. Another question for you... What is your schedule like? ----- told us that it would be Wednesday & Thursday morning and Friday (9 - 11 am or 1 - 3 pm). Of course that would change the further we go into the program.
  13. Thank you, Kayla! Now all I need to do is pass the Hesi A2 with a high score...lol. I really want this. I realize it's going to be a lot of hard work and dedication and I'm totally ready for that. I have the support of my family and friends. I want to do this not only for myself but for my husband and our four wonderful children. They're my world and well...they're expensive...lol. I need a career and one that I will enjoy.
  14. Awesome! Questions...if you don't mind :) Have you incurred many out-of-pocket expenses for the program yet? I know they told us Monday that we are responsible for uniforms, travel & lodging for some clinicals, etc... Also, they mentioned that we are responsible for our own health care insurance during the program. Is it a requirement? I also read on here somewhere about a particular dress code for the program. Have you encountered that? I ask because they did not mention that. Sorry for all the questions. You offered so I'm taking you up on it...lol. Thanks! Elizabeth
  15. That is correct! I live in Milton. :)
