Valencia College Nursing Fall 2015
Oh no! I'm not sure what I did with my receipt for the name tags (definitely still have the lab kit one, that's for sure). As for the polos, I guess. I just want to make sure I have my community uniform ready for lab on Thursday.

Gotcha, but when will we actually get them? I ordered from the bookstore and VNSA, but I haven't seen any info on when we can pick them up.

Here's to hoping someone sees this before tomorrow... Anyone know when/where we get our shirts (for those that ordered them) and our name tags?

For the current students, I have a question. Is the Calculating Dosages Safely book REALLY required? I've heard from a couple people it's not really needed, but I just wanna make sure. I don't like buying books I won't use (tight on money right now) and I'm confident in my math and conversions.

Is there a Facebook group for our class? I think that'd be easy way to communicate within the class.

Valencia College Nursing Fall 2015
Hey everyone! I know at orientation they gave us that paper with the class schedule and everything, but did they ever say when they'll post the CRN? I keep checking the secure nursing website and there's nothing. Just wanted to make sure before registration starts.

Question about accelerated Nursing programs vs. traditional BSN
Hi, I'm a high school junior and currently taking vocational classes to be a CNA. For my senior year, I have the choice to take half of the classes for the post-secondary LPN program. After I graduate I could finish the program in 6 months and become an LPN; from there I could do a bridge LPN to RN program with a community college. However, some of the universities I had in mind only offer the RN to BSN program online or it's been suspended for reasons unknown; only a few universities in my vicinity have an active bridge program. I plan on going into Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) and then getting my Masters and moving on into Administration as the Director of Nursing of a hospital. So my question for anyone out there is: Would it be better to do the accelerated program or go straight into BSN?
