JustBeginning!

Hi danadana and miss mini, I didn't receive an email from MGH last night, either. I emailed admissions this morning, asking if emails had been sent out to everyone who was accepted, or if there were more to come. They emailed me back almost immediately saying decision letters would be mailed today or tomorrow (what happened to Monday, btw!). About 20 minutes later I recieved an acceptance email.

I've been hurrying home to my mailbox every day for the past week. No word yet. Hopefully tomorrow? Do folks know much about the merit scholarships that MGH offers?

Just wanted to let you all know, I called MGH this afternoon and was initally told that they would be sending out the letter today or tomorrow. When I asked if financial aid/scholarship info would be included, I was asked to wait a moment. When the woman came back on the line, she apologized profusely and told me that letters are actually coming out mid March and will include scholarship/financial aid info. So... that may be where the confusion is coming from-- an admissions receptionist who wasn't aware of the change in notification dates! There goes $400 to BC!!

Hi All, I'm applying to Northeastern, BC, and MGH for the fall direct-entry program in psych. I'm trying to get one of my prereqs out of the way now, microbio, before taking a couple more this summer. The problem I'm running into is trying to figure out who accepts what. I've been playing email tag with folks at all of these schools, and it's getting kinda old. I'd like to save money by taking my microbio course at Mass Bay CC. They offer a neat 4 credit, 8-week hybrid option with the lecture online and then 8 weeks of lab in person. Does anyone know if these schools will accept this class? Thanks!
