  1. FYI home health agencies use taking care of sick and dying family members as experience. Take me for example I took care of my disabled sister, so I used it as experence and got hired without certification or previous experence hint.. hint ...
  2. I'm a certified home health care aide ,but in most states you don't have to be certified. Go for it! The pay may be a little less and you may be forced to work a double here and there but it alright. one client beats 12 or more residents.
  3. Sounds like you work in a nursing home, if not a bad hospital! I have had simiular experences and all i can say is search for a better department or a new job. Places like this don't give good quality care because their more concerned about friend than patients. Sinces your a new kid on the block you need all the help you can get and it's not your fault! If you need help it is up to them to show you if they care about their patients.
