I too am starting the ADN program this August! Big relief off my shoulders. I live in Florida and am going to PSC. Our first orientation is next Friday and then we have one right before school starts. I just finished Intro to Nursing so I have pretty much everything ready for school except a physical and immunizations. So excited!!

I also got a letter saying I was not accepted for not turning in my TEAS scores, but I had email proof and an advisor on my side and I fought it because I turned my TEAS scores in with my application back in March. Dr. Hutcherson looked right into it and let me know immediately once she found the scores that I was accepted. She has been nothing but helpful to me throughout this whole ordeal. I haven't (other than the misplacement of my TEAS scores) had the first problem with Polk or anyone involved in the nursing program. I am so happy I decided to go to Polk instead of continuing to apply and be rejected at HCC!

I got a great score on the TEAS, and my GPA is average.. my biggest struggle is going to be that I don't live in Polk and that I didn't take all my classes at Polk. I am hopeful though. The advisor that I turned my app into said she would be honest with me if she thought I didn't have a chance and she said she thought I had a fair shot.

I dont know... Thats why I am nervous! What about you?

I Am taking Intro right now, and our professor told us they have everything lined up and ready for the letters and are just waiting for thr June 1 TEAS test deadline. I know the transition students got their letters a few days after the deadline, so I am hoping by the end of next week?

MrsgoOd-- Thats nuts!! My letter was postmarked MONDAY!!

Hello fellow applicants!! Thought I would start a thread for those of us applying to PSC for this fall. I have to take the Intro to Nursing this summer but I am dropping off my application this week. Good luck to everyone!!

mrsgood--last years forum said it came in a separate letter after they finished with the appeals.

Yep calculated it a full .2 lower than what it is. I can appeal, but my GPA is so low already I don't know what good it will do. Congrats to everyone who has been accepted. You have no idea how much I envy you.

I would have stopped by to PO this morning but I had to take my kitty to be neutered this morning at 7 clear over on Howard. I live in PC, lol. I should have mu mail by noon!!!

Just checked my mail at my old house and got nothing. I can't stand this.

I just tried calling them but the lady who I got disnt have a freaking clue WTH she was talking about. My good friend emailed last week to and was told we should know something by early this week at the latest. This is driving me freaking insane!!!!!!!

What the heck??? They were telling people last week that the letters had been sent!!

I know from several people that the letters were sent out last Thursday or Friday... WTH?? they should be here already!! anyone know if its a big envelope or what??

They have their mail but no letters.

Talked to some friends of mine, they've got nothing either.

No mail carrier yet... Not anywhere in the neighborhood
