Have applied to 3 hospitals, 2 home care services and 20 nursing home facilities. What is the name you your company?

Yes, they seem to want experience. Still trying. Even submitted resume to company that is over 20 miles from me for live in service. I hate that I would have to do housework but I am getting desperate.

You helped lift my spirits up, thanks. Every application I filled out I have had to put my birth date down on, thus concerned that that could be a negative against me. They are not suppose to discriminate but that is hard to prove.

I passed but having a hard time finding a place that hires without experience.

I am astonished that it only took you 2 weeks. Most places want experience. I also wonder if they are discriminating against me because I am in my 50s. Are you under 50 and experienced? I guess I will try calling week instead of putting in applications.
