Right... dislodged tube was 48hrs old; new one placed 6hrs by IR; active bowel sounds.

Patient on tube feeding, initial rate 20ml/hr then advance 10ml Q12hrs. Patient has just been advanced to 50ml when NG tube inadvertently removed by confused patient. NG replaced 6hrs later, do you restart at 20ml/hr or go back to 40?

A new grad resume length of 2 pages was suggested by a hospital HR rep, esp for those with a previous career. My husband, who reviews resumes regularly as a director of his dept, designed the attached one for me, consolidating it to 1 page. I am a future nurse trying to reconcile my beliefs about birthing with the standard of care birthing moms receive. Are there other nurses in L&D who are seeking change (or secretly hoping for change) in regards to the birth experience in hospitals for women? (i.e. reducing c-section rates, allowing women to birth in different positions, etc). And what are your thoughts on the new organization, improvingbirth.org, and the Business of Being Born documentary? Interested in thoughts from both sides. Can a nurse be an "out" activist for change if they disagree with the way things are done?

Can anyone tell me if the school has shared if there's a difference in clinical locations for Temecula/San Marcos or if they share the same sites? I've been dead set on San Marcos but am willing to consider Temecula if I know that they don't just do clinicals at Riverside locations. Thanks!

Yes, IHG, Healthcare Academy (Oceanside) and The Nurse Group (Natl City), all comparably priced. I'd only have about a year and a half to work as a CNA before needing to quit/focus on school, so I'm not sure doing SNF first will work for me.
