  1. So sorry to hear this... Regroup, lick you wounds... wipe your tears away! You have not come this far to not finish!!!!!! Heal yourself, give yourself time and go back in there and allow yourself to shine!!!!! Please say a pray for yourself and those you come in contact with.... it helps!!!! Wishing you quiet confidence in all that you KNOW!!! YOU KNOW THIS!
  2. Sorry, but I am in Delaware... looks like that's as close as you're gonna get! LOL.. But seriously if interested, I on the Excelsior page on FB too. What are you studying. Where are you at in the program.
  3. Steve... can you tell me anymore about uexceltest.com with the English Comp... very curious!!! Books, strategies.... etc... DYJ314
  4. I am presently doing the Excelsior program and started in 2009. I basically needed all general eds as well as nursing course. I started in July, and in July 2010 I had 30 credits. I am still studying and testing, and feel very positive about the program thus far. You have to be diligent and committed to studying and set a specific time every day to study. I was afraid of running out of steam and thus far NOT... still plugging away! Remember there's always a way to get around a hard course. I couldn't face A and P (to test out) so I found an online course from Rio Salado.edu and took it that way.. I joined the freeexcelsiorhelp group and they are very instrumental in giving out different ways and places to take course and have them transferred to excelsior (maybe because it cheaper to take it elsewhere). I am like I said happy with my studies and progress. Good Luck!!
  5. I started testing out on gen eds July 2009 and basically as well needed everything. However, within one year I had 30 credits. I would suggest that you make a plan. Plan out how you are going to accomplish this. Gen eds needed can be assessed by calling excelsior and inquiring about program and what general eds you will need to take. Thereafter, go to barnes and noble and purchase clep books, (i.e., sociology/psych/world religions, etc). I studied one a month and after the month period I tested out and passed all the first time. Book from Barnes and Noble $25.00, proctored test at college in your area is under 80.00 bucks equals.... 3/4 credits!!! Get going! Best wishes.
