  1. How do you like the transition so far? I was reading a couple other similar post and many people had said it was a very boring yet stressful workload.
  2. Wondering if anyone has transitioned from bedside nursing to case manager and their experience. I am currently an RN with 2 years of working on a medical surgical (still working nights), I just finished my masters in Nursing Informatics and am having a hard time getting a foot into the IT field of nursing because I only have clinical experience. I was recently offered a Case Manager position and contemplating the the opportunity. I would prefer something more IT related, but am not sure if this would be a good stepping stone to get started with. Any suggestions?
  3. Well I took my Hesi, and then after I found out I passed my HESI I waited about 2-3 weeks ( I think thats when the admission Committee reviews my application) and then I got a call from them to let me know that I got accepted. =) But as of right know I'm still kinda iffy on if I should go to the Addison campus or the Chicago campus, because I live right in the middle of both.
  4. Hey, Congrats! I'm super excited to, I just got in as well for the summer 2011 semester.
  5. I resently took my A2 and heard back from them a while ago saying i got accpeted for the july 2011 semester, I can't wait! And dw the A2 was not as bad or hard as it seems. Good luck!
  6. Yeah, I ended up applying to the campus at Addison, and if anything, my high school recruiter said I could transfer all of my information to the Chicago campus if I wanted to. Good Luck!
  7. So I'm a Senior in High School, and I do want to do nursing like neonatal maybe, but i was wondering if there were any nursing jobs were you don't deal with patients directly.
  8. Hello, So I know I want to go to the Chamberlain College of nursing but I just don't know if I want to go to the one in Addison or Chicago. Any one been to these campuses? I have been to the Addison one it seemed very nice.
