Will i still be qualified in a new grad program?
Hello fellow nurses, I kinda have a dilemma whether to accept a new job offer or not. I have been working in a SNF for two years now and also going to school for BSN degree. I got a job offer in Kindred Hospital and most of my co-workers disagreed of me accepting the job because they said its also like a SNF/subacute unit, and that they're saying that i should just wait until i graduate to my BSN program and find a job in a real acute care hospital as a new grad or something. I' m womdering if i am still qualified as a new grad nurse even though i work in a SNF for two years now? And also, should i still accept the job at kindred hospital still since its not really an acute care hospital? Please help,me decide what is the right thing to do. Im very confused. Thank you so much

Cerritos College: Getting into Nursing Program
@june I got accepted for spring '11 too in nursing program at cerritos! I guess i will see you there! :) I'm excited but really really nervous and scared because i don't have any nursing experience and i might have trouble knowing the meaning of the terminology and i might not be able to know to take care of the patient. i kind of forgot wat i learn in most of my science core classes.
