Need a volunteer position.
Hospitals don't have volunteer positions for nurses but a free clinic is a good idea. And I want to volunteer as a nurse b/c i want to have continuity in my resume just in case i want to go back to it.

Need a volunteer position.
Does anyone have experience in volunteering. How do i get a volunteer job as a nurse? I searched online and nothing came up. Am I supposed to go from office to office and just ask? I've had two short lived nurse jobs and not a lot of experience. I have a little baby and need to establish a career so I can take care of him. Please, any advise is apretiated.

Employment gap
In the beginning I was very proud of the responsibility I was given and did not recognize the trouble I was headed for. There is no way now to leave with my head held high even though I have done nothing immoral, just could not perform under so much stress, which I'm sure is a familial trait as noticed similar trend with my sister and mother. In any case, I will not be getting a good reference from my manager and I was not there even long enough to get unemployment.

Employment gap
Can a prospective employer find out about my previous job if I don't put it on my resume? I'm a new nurse who was being trained on a telemetry floor and it was a horrible experience for me but this is the only experience I have. I don't want any future employers to contact my current manager so I'm planning to omit my current job from the resume.

Do nurses get unemployment benefits?
Thanks for the reply. I wander if the fact that I'm still in training disqualifies me from unemployment.

Do nurses get unemployment benefits?
Thanks. Do you the fact that I have not had my 30 day review will stop me from getting benefits. I'm not greedy person and all I want to do is go back to work and put my education to use. Step down was too stressful for me and HR said they would look for a new position for me but it's tough to get work as a new nurse and this puts a blemish on my work history as I basically worked only 2 months in a year since I graduated. And, my wife is pregnant.

Do nurses get unemployment benefits?
I'm a new nurse and I'm still in training by the hospital. I had to take a leave for health reasons and after the doctor cleared me to return to work I was promised to be put back on schedule. However, two weeks have passed and the head of HR keeps telling me that she will call me soon but she does not. Do i qualify for unemployment and what recourse do I have.
