I take mine Jan, 7 @ 1:00pm - Good luck! I've been looking for someone to study w/if you (or anyone else) are too. I'm just not retaining any of it all on my own w/out at least bouncing info off of someone else. Very nervous here too! I havent had a science class in 9 or so years lol

The McGraw Book is the McGraw Hill Nursing Entrance Exams (just ordered it last week). After studying the ATI guide this last week, I can actually say I'm very glad i got the Kapalan book for Nursing Exams as well. (Haven't received my McGraw Hill book in the mail yet). It covers the same content as the ATI guide, but to me personally, it makes much more sense and starts out in a structure that I can understand better. I'm good on both reading, english and language. so my main focus is going to be the Science and Math. I'm studying everyday and still feel like I just don't know enough, and am having trouble retaining all of it. Not sure what I need to change, but I have to change something. Taking my test on January 7th, so only a couple more weeks. Hopefully I'll pass b/c I really really want to do this program! Good luck to everyone!

New TEAS V Science Section
So excited! I got my A&P Book today - yea! & my TEAS study guide, and was so happy to see when I opened it that it gives a break down of the content that's on the test. So I kind of have my own answers to my questions on the Science part, however I have seen a lot of people saying that the study guide isn't very good to use for the Science preperation?? So after looking at this, I was wondering if I should still use another source (like the McGraw Hill or Kaplan book) What do you think???? Any suggestions welcome....lol

New TEAS V Science Section
I keep seeing eveyone saying the science is hard. Do you recommend anyone study method over another for it? I will have the ATI Teas V guide, McGraw Hill, and the Kaplan for nurses books. I'm scared to death b/c I've been working just this evening on the testprepreview.com TEAS self assesments, and it took me about 5 hours just to get through about 5 of the algebra/math sections!! I'm going to bomb! I didn't score over 60% on the algebra stuff, but got 70% on the arithmatic and regular math. I"m scared to death becasue my science skills are even worse! I'm applying for Ivy Tech for the fall semster, and if I take this twice before April 1st and don't get anything better than average, I can't take it again for two years! I won't be a nurse if that's the case. I graduated Ivy Tech with a Business degree and earned honors during my program, but I don't know if I can accomplish all of the necessary reveiw i need by 12/27 when I take my 1st test. So science and math/algebra will be my main focus. Any study tips WOULD BE GREATLY appreciated! And good luck to anyone taking this test in the future!

TEAS V
hello everyone! i posted this somewhere else, but thought maybe i'd have better luck posting it here. after surfing the web for three days, i've found that many ppl here have the same questions i do. but i still feel the need to ask more i suppose lol b/c i'm freaking out! i'm scheduled to take the teas on december 27 so i can re-take again before the end of march (if i fail the 1st time) b/c that's my cut off to apply for the nursing program. i honestly don't know where to begin on studying. i've found the website www.teasprepreview.com and wanted to know what everyone thinks about it?? i'll be taking the teas v. i've also purchased the mcgraw hill book, and will be getting the teas v study guide on monday. but i think my main question is, what worked best for those of you who struggle with math & science? that will be my main downfall. i've taken a couple self assesments on the algebra, and rememberd some of the stuff so i don't think the brush up with be to bad with the time i have to study, but i"m soooo scared about the science/chemestry. i haven't had any of those since high school more than 10 years ago!! any suggestions would be awesome at this point b/c if i take this test twice by the end of march and fail both times, i'm not allowed to take it again for another 2 years! thank you all in advance and sorry for this being such a long post. :redbeathe ** also, should i memorize all of the elements in the periodic table????

TEAS V - Study suggestions plz!!!
Thanks! I think it's test anxiety mixed with the only being able to take it twic issue that's really got me bugged about it. When I graduted from Ivy Tech the 1st time for Business I graduate with honors, so hopefully, I'll do ok. Thanks for the positive thoughts, and I wish you great luck with roudn 2! If I don't get it by the 2nd attempt, I won't be going for nursing b/c I'm not waiting 2 years to do it again. lol :-)
