  1. thanks, for the words of encouragement.
  2. CODE BROWN LOL never heard that one before brill
  3. I dont really think we should be using the term BM i think the initial is BGM ie blood glucose monitoring. I have just done a days course on defensible documentation and apparently we should not abbrieviate anything at all, this is because in each different speciality they are interpreted differently. eg DOA could mean 'date of admission' or 'dead on arrival' (oops,,, when anwering queries to relatives).
  4. it sounds very similar to my daily ward nursing (except for the lack of curtains) if thats any consolation.
  5. Thanks for that chrisrob, much appreciated.:)
  6. did recognise that some changes had been made. did not know it was official until my dad told me he knew this from reading the 'toilet literature' as he calls it (my nursing times in the bathroom)
  7. Hi everyone nice forum, hope to stick around for a while .didnt know things like this existed? Anyway i need some help with a problem i've got. Been a nurse for over 2 years.fancied a change ,did the interview thing and got the job. Had to get a health questionaire done which i was privvy to seeing before it was sent to occi health. My gp has written that i had a short episode of depression over ten years ago.not recurred also that i had a bad back 2 yrs ago . i am now really concerned about this effecting the chances of the new job? 1:will the past deppression effect my chances? at the time i thought it was just one of those things (lookin back now i probably was) 2: could i be struck off for this? 3:should i question the gp's interpretation of my notes?(different gp now) 4: am i stressing myself into an early grave for nothing ? please if anyone could sharethere opinions or knowledge i would be grateful thx in advance :)
