Yeah I was planning on using up my sick days. We get paid vacation time one we leave but not sick so whenever I give my month notice I'll just burn through my sick days while I'm gone

Thanks..... I'm suppose to give a month notice but my recruiter said I'm going in august but its just around the corner and still no orders. I haven't given notice to my job yet I just tell them when I know something you'll know but right now I'm waiting!!

I commissioned already but haven't told my manager what date I'm leaving because I don't have official orders yet.. Would it be bad to give notice and leave a little after you get orders? Don't want to quit my job and not have any money cowing in if I don't get orders!!! What should I do?

I want to change my dreamsheet. Do you think i can still do so since I'm an alternate and probably won't get selected until next yr October?

I hope the next board isnt in October.... My recruiter said the next board is sometime in March.. I guess all of our recruiter has different days of when boards are). Anderm, since your moving up on the list, does that mean everyone whos an alternate moved up one step closer to becoming an actual select?

Rnpic, I agree with Tee.. Dont give up on your dreams.. I have been following this site for awhile and just signed up. I too am hopeful about the Air Force and all I can do is pray. If it happens then thats great... but if the dont accept me then the will see my packet until they do.... lol
