rnbyprof, if that's the case, then I think NSET comes first before filling in a vacancy :)

SLMC-QC PGNT
Here's the process of SLMCQC's training/hiring of nurses based on what they told us: 1. PGNT Phase 1-3 (Evaluated based on performance and recommendation; 3 months; Evaluated every after phase before proceeding to the next one) 2. If you passed the PGNT (meaning you got satisfactory grades and recommendation), they will endorse you for interview with the managers. 3. Once you passed the interview, they will now endorse you for the physical/medical exam. They are strict with the BMI (should be normal) and those with high blood pressure, and of course those who are not fit to work. 4. PGNT + Interview + Medical Exam = NSET (Those who will undergo this training will be POSSIBLY for hiring) 5. After finishing the NSET, contract signing and you will then be a probee. They said that hiring will depend on the vacancies in the units, I'm not sure if NSET comes first before filling in a vacancy or vice versa :)

SLMC-QC PGNT
Hi bokbokbok, doing fine, thank you! :) We were texted a week before our first day so they might notify you guys soon, probably before our batch ends our 1st phase :) I think that would depend on the availability of classrooms that can be used for the training, and the instructors as well. Batch 12-04 will be starting their NSET very soon according to them, so there are 2 batches who are still undergoing PGNT (13-01 and 13-02).

I wanna ask if the fee paid for the training is refundable? My friend recently signed up for PGNT Batch 5 (Yes, 5 already) and she is now contacted by another hospital for a (free) training, and she told me she's interested to grab that opportunity. I wasn't able to ask about this one when I signed up a month ago. Thanks! :)

I noticed that there a lot of nurses here who are included in Batch 13-02! :) We have to wait for Batch 13-01 to finish their Phase 2 first though before we could start our Phase 1.

SLMC-QC PGNT
Cynica, I'm also included in Batch 13-02. Maybe we'll start last week of March or 1st week of April, since 13-01 just started their Phase 1 last Jan 31 :)katawang_pangromansa, I'm included in Batch 13-02 :)

SLMC-QC PGNT
dodoy, hi! Would you know the percentage of applicants endorsed for NSET from PGNT and those from NSET to probationary period? :)

SLMC-QC PGNT
jong5244, hi! IMO, if you prefer to train in SLMC-QC, you should submit your credentials there personally and wait for their feedback. I'm not sure if they are particular with the work history, but I think there's nothing wrong if you indicate that you are still employed with your present company. I'm not also sure if which batch will you be included, what I'm sure of is Batch 13-01 is already full :) Regarding the request for a later batch, I'm again not sure if that will be possible, but I think they will accept lesser applicants (or worse, stop) for the PGNT once they have filled in the vacancies already for QC.
