xoxjedixox, Hey I got waitlisted too but I was happy to be waitlisted! That means we still have a chance to go to UR. When I spoke to them last Thursday they told me that last semester they went through all of their waitlisted students, so I suppose that is good news for us. Just a little more waiting for us :) and Congrats to all of you that got accepted!! How are you guys thinking of paying for tuition?? Like I said before, I am still torn between a Community College's RN program that is offered for 5k and UR's program that is offered for about 70K. Huuuge difference.. but I was doing some research and it looks like you can get into some Masters programs with a BA in another field and an RN license.. which is what I will have.. IDK! decisions decisions!! :/ . I just want to get my acceptance packet and review my financial aid package already! so if i can know if I can even afford to go.. I am going to research a ton of scholarships as well..

I called the number that is on the nursing website it's under contact us.

I called today and they told me I have been waitlisted! Im sure that's good news :)

I just got accepted to a nursing program at a college andit willbe 5k for two years...if I get accepted into rohester I don't know whether I should go since it is 80k plus housing...what y'all think?

Has anybody heard anything so far?? I wonder what is taking so long

oooh man.. thanx for killing my buzz... I was really relieved to see that they had narrowed it down to 200 and were going to admit 60.. but now we get to the reality of it.. how to pay for it all? I really haven't thought about it. I will worry about that if and when I get admitted. Also, are they really going to send out their decisions mid-May?? That is next week! I hope to hear soon! The wait is killing me. Hang in there everybody, I hope we all hear the good news soon :)

Hi everybody! just another NYU hopeful here... first of all, congrats to everybody that has gotten accepted!! does anybody know when they will be sending out the second batch of acceptance notifications?? I still haven't heard anything from them :/ .. well hopefully I will hear the good news soon :)

That's what i was told in my interview as well, but i received an email saying that they were aiming to get the decisions out by the end of May, but since they have received a lot of applications, it will realistically be by the end of June. IDK.. hopefully they will get through them quickly so we can hear back from them!

Hey everybody! so this is my first post just found this thread and I am very excited! I finally get to interact with people that are waiting on pins and needles just like me. I just received an email from UR saying that they have received over 400 applicants and they are only going to accept 56.. yikes! They also said that due to the high volume of applications they are not going to invite everybody for an interview.. I wonder what that means?? Does that mean no interview no acceptance??.. hmm.. Also, since they are really swamped they said they are going to start sending out decisions late June.. Up until that email i was doing fine but now I feel really anxious and nervous about the email. I don't know how I am going to make it waiting until the end of June.. my goodness have they no pity on us

congrats to those of you who got in!! i sent them an email today and they told me that the committee still has not reached a decision and hopes to have one by next week... : / .. I am thinking at this point maybe I did not get in.. if not they would have accepted me already... Alison you are not alone...

Oh kika i really hope that you are right too...it must have been absolutely heart breaking for your friend though...i seriously have lost eight pounds during this application process.. it is really stressful and nerve wrecking.. filled with hope and at the same time it is disheartening at the thought of rejection.. years of preparation all come down to this moment.. BEST OF LUCK to the ones that are waiting like me... let's keep our fingers crossed, our hopes high, because we have come this far and we will keep progressing towards our ultimate goal regardless of what we might encounter along the way.. like my mother said, " at least you have all of your limbs and are in good health. This isn't the end of the world and should not discourage you from meeting your goals." BEST OF LUCK TO US ALL : ) I know these days might seem eternal but we will find out sooner than we think

Chinofish, you and I are on the same boat. I would be getting an conditional acceptance too if I get accepted. Are they saving us for the very last to fill the spots of those who decided not to go to NYU in the end? Let me know if you hear anything. Is there anybody out there that is still waiting to get a reply?? I e-mailed them today and they told me that they have reviewed my application but have not reached a decision. They told me I would hear from them in a few weeks. What does that mean?? I can't wait until this waiting game is over it is seriously driving me insane. I am currently taking statistics..are there any of you that have received a conditional admission??
