I'm due to take my CEN by June 9th, (I signed up just need to pick a date by that day). I have the ENA CEN book (the one with 5 practice tests and online tests) and I have the Sheehy's Manual of Emergency Care and Sheehy's Principles and Practices. I'm doing practices questions almost 3-4 times a week. I'm getting REALLY bored studying and doing questions. I've been getting bizarre and inconsistent scores on my practice tests, from 60-80%! Just wondering if it's because my current method of studying is just too boring for me.. I've been to Jeff Solheim's review course and I still have the book from that course. I saw that he has 16 subject review to buy online through Med-ED for $170. I also saw PESI has a 12 subject review course online (and on sale today) for $99. Both companies offer "pass guarantee". Just wondering if anyone took these courses and if they were helpful.
  2. Here's the book I'm using Med-Surg Success: A Course Review Applying Critical Thinking to Test Taking (Davis's Q&a Series): Kathryn Colgrove, Ray Huttel: 9780803625044: Amazon.com: Books now I'm debating if I should buy the practice questions from the ancc website.. It's $75 for 115 practice questions... Here's the link for the practice questions ANCC i studied for the nclex by just doing practice questions and I thought it was helpful in making me a better test taker.im planning to take the test in July. Good luck in your studying and share tips with me pls! I also took a 4 month online course thru the univ of Washington to help me review content... Now I'm just practicing my questions.....
