  1. Hey guys. My name is Nelson Pinho Moreira. I made a Uconn Mein 2013 group on facebook. I'm hoping this group can help us keep in touch as we go through with the program. Most importantly, i hope we can help each other using this group.

  4. Thanks guys, CCSU's head of nursing admissions said i was a strong candidate in being accepted with a gpa well over 3.0 and UCONN's head of nursing admissions said i stand a good chance in the competition in the school of nursing. Hopefully they aren't just pulling my strings but I believe they can't directly say you'll get in considering it's against the rules. I could be wrong though, hopefully ill get in uconn :)
  5. Hey guys, I'm new to the site and just registered an account. I was wondering if any of you could give me some tips on to where I should apply in my current situation. I am a junior at the University of Connecticut and my gpa stands at a 3.37 with 61 credits(making me a junior). I am currently in the school of allied health and I've been trying my hardest to get into Uconn's school of nursing to obtain a bachelors in nursing! I'm 20 years old and have held a job for 3 years. I am about to begin volunteer work at middletown hospital in order to have some experience and juice up my resume. Also, I am a male. I know Uconn admissions state, a minimum of 3.0 but lets be realist im sure its above that in order to get accepted. I was wondering if you guys could give me a heads up on my chances of getting into a list of these schools with the stats i've stated above: and perhaps other schools you all would recommend. Thank you, I appreciate any comments University of Connecticut Southern Connecticut State University Bridgeport Hospital
