I finished school February 2010. My application was mailed out Feb. 12, 2010. I took my NCLEX the end of May. I finally received the letter I passed seven weeks later in July BUT it stated my application was pending due to my petty theft conviction 15 years ago. After many phone calls, I finally received a letter October 28th stating I was DENIED! Needless to say I was devastated. I am now in the process of appeals which can take up to a year from what I am told. The lawyer I contacted assured me that I would be granted my license after the appeals process but at this point I am feeling hopeless. I hope you get an answer soon and are given your license.

I applied for my LVN license and was denied for a petty theft conviction from 15 years ago. I am now in the appeal process. I am devastated. I hope your situation goes a whole lot better.
