  1. Did anyone else on here get into Allegheny evenings? It seems that our (or at least my) acceptance letter in very vague. There is no specific timeline, phone numbers, or information about what I need to do besides a "background check, drug screening, and physical." Reading other posts I noticed a lot of specific tests, Titers for example, training (CPR), and dates for registration. I feel a little left in the dark. Does anyone know who is a good person to talk to for me to find out more information?
  2. Jasoninpa, I was in a similar situation. I scored in the 99th percentile on science, received A's in chemistry I & II at Pitt, and got A's in high school biology and chemistry in high school. They still wanted me to take BIO 110 to get through the red tape. BIO 110 is basically a prerequisite to NRN 101. I am taking BIO 110 right now, and I have received permission based on my background to wave the requirement temporarily for me. My suggestion is for you to suggest a similar compromise with CCAC. They probably still want you to take the class. With your background you should easily get an A when you do. It also looks like the MAT course is only a co-requisite to NRN 101 so the timing shouldn't be a problem. Good luck.
  3. Woohoo. Got my acceptance letter for Allegheny evenings. Good luck everyone.
  4. I live just a block away. I bet I get mine last!
  5. I didn't get anything yet. I'm nervous that at this point the biology classes are going to be filled. I wanted to take AP and Micro this spring.
