"Male Problems" while nursing female
Leslie unfortunately this phenomena is not spoken about much but is just as normal as feeling hungry or tired and one doesnt think too much about it unless it becomes an irritation and one wishes to do something to 'hold it down' / keep it under controll than publicize it

"Male Problems" while nursing female
Thank you for being honest with your body' natural reactions..... always brushed under the carpet and many would not want to even hear about this ...... its natural for men to react this way .... take it with a pinch of salt and put it behind you ..... you have to learn to live with it.... just like any other physiological need of our body ..food sleep etc ..... its perfectly natural and normal for your body to react this way when you see attractive items......

Double Standard BS
i have assisted in the birthing of over 80 babies :welcome: as a student nurse / midwife, and am confident i could do it better than any of my 48 female student colleagues who have the right parts, including those who have had children and many of my med school student colleagues. assisting in the birthing process worked out this way, in a room with about 6 nursing students, 6 medical students the first two to don gloves on would assist the mum (there was a shortage of gloves where i worked) i was told by my head of school when i applied to do obgyne for my master’s degree... 'the world is not ready for male midwives yet', :angryfire i hope the world would be ready in another 50 years or so , ... i love my nursing practice and would prefer to practice midwifery any day if i had the choice:idea: oh well, its not the end of the world, at least i have a job

I am trying to locate a text book on care plans that has in it nursing interventions that are grouped in 3-4 categories including ▲ independent nursing interventions ● Dependent nursing interventions colloborative nursing interventions I last used this book in college and its has since gone missing, almost every nursing diagnosis has a page full of interventions with interventions and their rationale classified using the above ▲ ● . Any suggestion in terms of author or title would be very helpful. Thank you in advance

kissing a pt/ resident
The whole thing is a joke...........Get real....... Can one in a sane mind deny feeling attracted to a member of the same race (male or female or whatever) A wise judgement would be to stay away from risky behaviour that could implicate us or our profession..... play safe .... try this behaviour in one of those countries / societies that forbid male female contact, which is 'natural' to their society, and you could have your head on a chopping block.....arms tied at your back and a rug on your head.... Was it truly worth the kiss............ cheers:)
