  1. SELLING BOOKS. THESE WON'T LAST. WILL GIVE YOU THE BEST PRICE. PRIVATE MESSAGE ME. @shermel2. The program is very difficult and fast paced. the amount of materials covered within a short window is what makes it difficult. exams are challenging because of the materials covered(e.g. 15 - 20 chapters for a 50 question test) on top of written assignments, group presentations, and clinicals. It is doable as applejacks36 described.
  2. selling textbooks from 2011 class...PM me if you are interested...trying to get rid of them and will sell at cheap price.....
  3. Future UHV nursing students.....once you get accepted into the program let me know if anyone is interested in buying some of my textbooks from 2011. There were collegues that used prior years(2010) textbooks. I understand that you can contact the publisher for the codes. I am trying to get rid of them because I will have no need for them. I will sell them at a very good price and WILL match any offers. PM me if you are interested.
  4. @sciencegirl, i am unable to respond to pm.....i don't have enough postings according to administrator of allnurses......send me your email and i will respond to your q's ......

  11. Yoli79, i thought at the end of this week...unless i heard wrong....last year it was on a Friday that people started getting responses....the suspense is killing me also.... were you in the group that was green? I might have met you while in the computer room waiting for the essay.... again good luck to all...
  12. I know that 105 people were invited. I heard from people in my table that they counted 88 people attended. Another individual counted 90.
  13. Finally glad the interview was over.....i'm going to take a long nap..... Best of luck to everyone!
  14. Jeanster..... I have a Bachelors in Accounting......worked in the accounting/finance/IT for 10+ years.....when I went back to school for my nursing pre-reqs i realized that I struggled more in my accounting courses than in my nursing pre-reqs(4.0 in my science classes). With age comes wisdom. JSanz 8 is right about your previous experience will only help you no matter what your background is..... I too am no spring chicken but I 'm a little older and wiser. It all boils down to being focused and disciplined no matter what program/career you're going into.
