FL nurses! I need ur help
depending on where you are staying I would look online for nclex prep courses in the area. you can also study by yourself and just do a minimum of 2000-5000 nclex like questions. once you get into a passing rate of 75-80% at home you have a good chance of passing the nclex. these prep books/cd's are excellent. do every day a couple of hundred questions and you'll get the drift. good luck to you.

What is it like to work as a nurse in Germany?
Thank You for your detailed response. While I now understand that nurses in Germany are so underpaid I'd like to ask what nurses make in other European countries?

US RN wants to work in Australia
I know that they have a clause about age discrimination and getting a Visa. I did not know that it could be so hard and expensive to find a sponsor. I am wondering if there are exceptions (getting a work visa) for areas of special need. Where is the biggest shortage in Australia of RN's? Has anyone gotten arround the age limit? I don't want to permanently live there I am interested to obtain a limited working visa.

Nursing shortage
How is your hospital's human resource department. I have seen huge advertisements for nursing jobs with incentives, great benefits...blabla bla.. ( in my area)... yet, the Human Resource Departments (in 3 hospitals) never answers the phone, message only and no call back for resumes and applications for one week. Do they really want to hire?? That has been my question.
