To those that are still trying to get their stuff done and waiting for letters. Child Abuse Clearance & Fingerprints should be done asap cause they take about 2 weeks. I don't have health insurance so I went to the health dept. for titers and Walmart clinic for TB. Titers take 2 weeks to come back. We are required to get 2 TB tests 10-21 days apart, so that should be started. The titers they absolutely requre are german measles and Hep. B. All the other ones, your doctor can fill in dates of immunizations. Immunizations include: MMR, Hep B, Tdap, Chicken pox (or date you got the disease). Stethascope, I got from Amazon.com. I asked around to current nurses. For good clarity and value, I was told Littman Classic II. It was around $60. Lots of stuff to do. Congrats everyone! We worked really hard to get here.

Another person in one of my classes had the same problem as Jasoninpa. They didn't input her paperwork correctly and she had some of the highest scores. She did get it resolved, but she didn't get her first campus of choice. They threw her in Cal when she wanted Boyce.

You can test out of 090, so I would definately fight that. By the way, anybody needing CPR Cert. and lives near Munhall/Homestead, I found an instructor from Munhall EMS that will certify me next Tues night. He said if anyone else needs it to call him. Let me know if interested.

I'm having a hard time finding a cpr course. Any suggestions?

I got my letter today. Fast Track Boyce. Boyce only does fast tracks. Does anyone know if the health dept. does titers? I called Quest Diagnostics and they want somewhere around $500.

I didn't get the letter today either. I live in the South Hills. I can't wait another day!
